Brushing your teeth is never an extremely fun thing to do which means that you have to have something that is going to hold the attention of the children as they brush. There are a few different ways that you can do this and ensure that the child ends up brushing for the full time. This is a great way to make brushing into a fun game, as well. Use AppsUsing apps on a table or phone can help children brush not only for the full time, but also have fun while they do so. This is a great way to have them interact with the program and ensure that they know how to brush all of the areas of the mouth. BooksReading children a book or having a book read out loud off of a tablet or other device can give them something to listen to while they brush. This reduces the amount of time that they feel they are brushing for and it can also make them excited to hear more about the book while they brush their teeth. Create a Game Out of itWhen you brush your teeth with the kids, make a game out of it. You can make it fun for everyone that is playing. Think of a way that is going to make brushing more fun, while also ensuring that you're brushing where you need to brush, as well as for the length of time. Perhaps adding in a bit of music can make brushing a bit more fun. Brushing your teeth is not the most fun task out there, but it is a task that has to be done every single day. By making it fun not only for the children, but for yourself also, will help you all have better overall oral hygiene when it comes to brushing when you need to brush. |
